Nearly there ! ....
Missing a couple of small panels, above the marquee and below the joystick.
Just need to sort out the lighting for the marquee and the detail for the pull out keyboard and mouse, that's a bit tricky to sort out a nice detail.
That aside all the laminating is done, and on we went to do the artwork, which proved to be a little tricky!
Having done the work on the website, the guys at Trippnology on their own bat for fun did a logo, it's the Kitz ArKade one, pretty neat of them.
I liked it and decided to use it, so I got it printed up along with a screen capture of the cat from the Magical Cat Adventure ROM.
Stuck em all on and did not like it :-(
Something was wrong!
If you check out the top picture opposite I'm sure you will agree, it's not great.
I thought the Kitz Logo was the culprit, it did not fit well with the Cat, I did'nt fancy the idea of telling the guys at Trippnology that their free labour was being dumped!
Figured id hold off for a few days.
Meanwhile I thought something bigger was needed, and found the Guy with the Gun artwork on a neat site and decided to run with that.
So I got the new artwork, did some hardcore thinking and bingo, I got it !
The problem with the Kitz ArKade logo was unlike the other artwork I had, it was not cutout, Jesus, how the hell do you cut that out ?
The printer noted that there was a problem with the artwork, the problem ? Well according to him it would be near impossible to cut out the circles in the Guy with the Gun artwork!
Helpfull suggestions abounded, including hacking a compass to hold a scalpel, how mad is that!
The guy would think I was nuts if I was to try cutout the Kitz logo, well an hour later the deed was done....

I think it looks great, all the cutting was done with a Stanley blade in hand, a ruler, and beer!
