OK, 24 hours into this insane project , I put my money where my mouth is!
Check out the joystick on the right !
Got it from here.
For a few $'s extra they do a dual joystick panel, or you can get PCB and the controls for some $'s less.
I chose the single one because of the size, I want to try keep it as tight as possible.
It's gonna require a small hack, there is a control in the side, that emulates a coin slot, I notice on their site that they have a hole cut into the console to access this ?
Odd, I will just take it apart and rewire it so I can place the coin slot emulator in a better position. That aside this is the business, it can be hooked up to a PC and I got a PS2 adaptor while I was at it, so I can integrate the PS2 into the whole thing.
They are workin on an x-box 360 adaptor :-)
This is lookin good, I'm actually getting into this now, with some work this could be turned into a multi-platform game center, that looks well coooool ........
Shipping is about 10 day's or so.
I figure it's a good place to start, once I have it in my hands I can set about how to create a cabinet to fit the look of the joystick panel.
I can also set up a PC do all the connections, install the software etc, so the whole computer end is now up and running :-)
It's all good !
