So what do you do when your bored?

Simple! Gather up all your routers, hubs and stuff, and geek out :-)

In the pick opposite, I got three Cisco 2500 routers, one 1900 switch, one hub, and two Cisco PIX firewalls.

Add a truck load of cables, hook up a few computers, break out the beer and have fun!!

So I have two congas, but I was not happy with the finish.

Not that there was anything wrong it per se, but it did not blend into the scheme of things!

So, I got myself a tin of pre-cat laquer, and away I went.

I was looking for a "factory finish", but I don't have a factory!

I have/did have a crappy spray gun, which at the point of starting the job, died :-(

So I just used a crappy brush instead. Several coats of the pre-cat, some sanding inbetween coats with wet and dry paper.

I used 800 grit to start and 1200 to finish. Finally, a good going over with rubbing compound and we're done.
